11/13/14 - CCLQ Meeting at Cheryl K.'s

There were 8 members present today at Cheryl K.'s house.  We had an enjoyable morning together.  Photos on the progress on a number of projects:

Joy with 2 more Custom CK Bags.

Ruth S. binding Joanna's Donation Quilt.

Cheryl turned her stack of fabric into a table runner.  She presented some finishing questions.  The group had a NUMBER of suggestions, but Cheryl wants to finish it by Thanksgiving!

Gayle is working on another doll.

Candy brought knitting to work on.

Joanna brought fabric to share.  Joy went home with this coffee inspired print.  Thank you to Joanna's SIL for not wanting to keep this at her house!

Ella's blocks turned into a quilt top ready for quilting.

Look what Ruth S. made this summer.  It's ready for quilting, too.

Ella's spruced up Rail Fence quilt is so pretty!  (Joanna did the quilting on this one.)

And this one is simply stunning.  A donation quilt?  I think NOT!!!  (Joanna did a fabulous job with the 2 color swirly quiting.)

Here's Barry's Carpenter's Wheel quilt that Joanna quilted oak leaves into.  Great work!

Joanna's quilt, but NOT her colors.  Her DIL was thrilled to think that it would be given to her!

Joanna was busy marking squares.

Cheryl made another quilted bag this week.  Beautifully done!

Dee Dee is almost finished with Mickey's Christmas Runner.  It's ALL from stash... except for the $10 spool of thread that she ended up buying because it was the perfect compliment!

Candy was trying to work out where she went wrong on the pattern and Deborah was quilting on her Grandmother's UFO.  It's going to be a show stopper!

Until next time...
Happy Quilting!!!
