Here is the work of our hands...
Dee Dee worked on binding a Soldier Quilt:
Gayle brought a Donation Quilt to bind...
Let's see what's on the back:
Here's the backing fabric that Deborah gave her. Everyone agreed that it was PERFECT for this quilt:
... And another Donation Quilt to show... Or start the binding is she was REALLY productive:
This is the last of the triangles that Deborah needs to cut:
Ruth is working on squaring up her little Pinwheel Blocks:
Candy's Scrappy Geese Quilt turned out to be not so scrappy after all:
Ella and Joanna waited for their turn at Show and Tell:
HERE is Ella's FIRST EVER attempt at paper-piecing:
THIS is what her quilt will look like when she uses "real" fabric, as opposed to scraps:
Joanna was organizing some of her patterns:
Candy made some Mug Rugs with her leftover Flying Geese units...
... But, was busy sewing a hanging sleeve on her Paula Nadelstern Quilt:
Cheryl found some fabric to go with a collection that she has for a new Baby Quilt... Only to realize that the colors are right, but the fabric that she chose is covered in Christmas Trees and Cookies!!!
While cleaning, she found a LARGE bag with a broken zipper. She plans to remake it into a more usable size:
After her turn at Show and Tell, Cheryl got back to binding her most recent Baby Quilt:
Joy showed off the new book that she WON in a giveaway on Crazy Mom Quilts...
Along with the quilt top that she made from the Layer Cake that she won as part of the Grand Prize Drawing at the Happy Quilting Blog:
She asked if anyone might have some fabric for a border and Candy thought that she might. Thanks, Candy!
Jean was busy stitching on a Mouse Costume for the Carolina Ballet:
Dee Dee's timer went off and eight of us adjourned to Rasa Indi-Chinese for lunch. They have the MOST amazing Lentil Soup on earth. Candy liked it (and she doesn't even LIKE lentil soup!!)
