Welcome to this week's meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilt Bee!! Eight members gathered at Ruth B's for fresh blueberry scones, coffee, and...
Show and Tell...
Our first TELL was from DeeDee (AND Ella, through Cheryl K.) that her (cataract) surgery went well and they were at breakfast at Cracker Barrel. We were missing them, so were glad that they checked in with the group.

Linda prepared to do battle with her Aboriginal Quilt:
Joanna came armed with a seam ripper:
As evidenced by braces on BOTH wrists, Gayle has overdone it with gardening, etc.:
Candy crocheted an Elephant Ear:
Joy sat with her foot elevated (after spraining her ankle on Monday.) See the bruise:
Cheryl K. was giving away this fabric:
Care to guess who took it home??? LOL
Cheryl made this Donation Quilt out of scrap strips from Dee Dee:
Joanna brought a bag of scraps for Joy:
Thanks, Joanna!!!
Cheryl brought a rainbow of fabric for the Orlando Quilt that Joy emailed about:
Deborah arrived just after snack time:

Speaking of Joy... she brought her latest Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks and a homemade "Jelly Roll" from Joanna's Narrow Scrap strip bin:
THIS is what Joanna has been working on since her Accidental Landscapes class at Symposium:
The washing machine has caused a need for some repair work on Linda's Aboriginal Quilt:
Ruth B. got out her Applique Project - but wouldn't smile for the camera:
Joanna spent the morning reorganizing strips into THIS arrangement:
BEAUTIFUL!!!
I hope she'll share some tips that she learned in her class with Karen Eckmeier.
Joy spotted THIS piece of decorative wall art on the way into lunch. Looks like a quilt to me:
Five hungry quilters descended upon Vinny's Pizzeria:
Pizza and salads. What could be better?! Britt was able to stop by for a visit. Hooray!!
