12/1/16 - CCLQ @ Deborah's

Welcome to this week's meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  We ALMOST didn't have a meeting today.  Plans were made to go on a Field Trip to A Thread Runs Through It  Quilt Shop in Phenix, Virginia for their annual SALE.  At the last minute, it was decided that the travelers among us would leave AFTER the today's meeting.

On the way in, I got a glimpse at what Deborah has on her design wall.  It promised to be beautiful:

Our normal chatter was amplified and extended, thanks to a special guest.  Spot the odd quilter out:

Candy brought packs of quilting designs to share with us:

Jean worked on a beading project:

Dee Dee brought a present...

Linda arrived, just in time to leave for today's Field Trip:

SURPRISE!!!  She's not even "tracked out" this week.

We were all pleased to see Gayle today.  Thanks for joining us (and bringing that lovely quilt!!)  It was fun to see how you arranged the blocks that we made for you.  Nice work!!  Come back, anytime!

Until next time...
Safe travels!!!
