4/27/17: CCLQ @ Candy's

There was excitement in the air for the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters this week as they prepared for the upcoming Shop Hop!  This week eight quilters met at Candy's home.

This lovely quilt made by Candy greeted quilters upon arrival at Candy's home.

Aren't these Nimble Thimbles adorable? Joanna and Britt worked together to create the T-shirts just in time for the weekend Shop Hop. 

Candy opened up "show and tell" with this lovely table runner. 

Candy used a couching method with hologram thread.

Britt completed her NCQS silent auction piece with very effective design and quilting. 

Ruth B worked on her landscape and recalled her weekend trip to Williamsburg with her daughter.   DeeDee reported that she had been in and out of her sewing room this past week. DeeDee also worked hard in her garden too!

Ruth S brought a bag with coupon to give to someone for the Shop Hop! 

Ruth shared the blocks of a baby quilt.  She and Savannah have been busy.

Deborah shared her story about the wonderful weekend trip to New York with family including her  94 year old mother-in-law. 


The group had lunch at Asian Harbor in Mebane NC.
