Miscellaneous News...
Dee Dee shared about her trip (with Ella and Barry) to Big Bloomers. They also visited Find X Designs, a FABULOUS quilt shop, located in Sanford, NC. She reports that the shop is as good as A Thread Runs Through It (and that's REALLY saying something!!) Find X has fabric and yarn, along with longarm quilting machines to rent.
Margaret mentioned that if you are in Greensboro at Ye Olde Forest Quilters, be sure to go to Calla Lily Quilts and Studio Stitch.
Upcoming Events...
Candy pointed out that Dana's Collective Market will be held at Cameron Village in Raleigh on Saturday, June 24th. Nimble Thimbles will have a booth. Talk to Candy to submit items for sale. Joanna has volunteered to go along to help with sales. Look for hand crafted items around the house that you are no longer using. Members have mentioned microwave bowl holders, wallets, and key fobs. Quilts, wall hangings, and quilted place mats or table runners will also be accepted for sale.
If you don't have your items ready for the June sale, there will be a Collective Market held on the LAST Saturday of each month during the summer months and into the early autumn.
