Let's see who chimed in this week.
Britt is preparing to quilt her son's college graduation quilt...
... And just finished a UFO:
Joy is working on sewing up some PINK scraps for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. She finished this mini for the Gallery Wire in her studio:
Another PINK mini is almost done. Shown with binding options:
Ann had a TELL...
She is at a temporary standstill since she broke her left wrist. She said that she needs to learn to work one handed. Hoping that a shorter cast will help. It was a freak accident.
Here's the story. "I managed to do it while walking my dog on the beach. I stopped to pick up a shell, and he saw a bird land nearby. When he jerked on the leash to chase the bird, I went down. The plan is for me to get a shorter cast tomorrow. Right now my elbow is immobilized."
Marian added these squares to fusible grid...
Karen L. started using her wool again with a Block of the Week called Woolen Oak Mystery. I'm case you missed it, every week is featured in an acorn:
Kirsten had a TELL: She is in "home renovation hell." She is actually in her new (sewing) space - moved the furniture in last Saturday and spent Sunday scrubbing the floor to get all of the drywall/construction dust up. That's a losing battle. She promised to share pictures once she's all unpacked and has everything set-up.
Kirsten also had an ASK: Anyone interested in a virtual meet-up one Tuesday night? Joy thought YOU might be, so she and Kirsten are developing a plan for a group Zoom meeting later this month. Stay tuned for more info!
Margaret sent this grouping of projects. An underwater scene that was part of a Row by Row, June blocks for a Block of the Month program with another group, and her Pineapple Pieces block for a donation quilt that CCLQ is working on:
Let Joy know if YOU sent photos or shared a story, but don't see them posted here.
Until next time...
Quilt SEW safely!!!
