5/21/16 - NT (and CCLQ) in the Wild {At the SECU Family House}

Welcome to the next edition of NT in the Wild!!  This time NTers were spotted at the SECU Family House in Chapel Hill.  There were some members of CCLQ, as well.  All told, there were 15 quilters in attendance!!  Special thanks to Candy for arranging the location for us.  It worked out SEW well!!!

Everyone pitched in to get things set up and then the machines started humming.

Ella spent the day quilting a wall hanging for her dining room:


Candy did some cutting:


Linda prepared fabrics for cutting:


Joy spent the day at the ironing board pressing fusible interfacing to the inside of T-shirts:


Jean stopped in to chat for a bit:


Carol worked on trimming threads...

After lunch, Dee Dee laid out her beautiful batik quilt to test border sizes:

Experiment complete, Linda presented the block to Gayle for her Birthday Quilt:

With trimming complete, Carol moved on to her current hand quilting project:
