Early April...
Jean R. had been busy since our last update. Remember all of those kits she cut for herself? Well, she got a start on the sewing:
TWO...
THREE:
FOUR:
FIVE:
Joyce made a little cozy...
... For her mini travel iron:
Karen L. made a Toilet Paper quilt, but what I'm really wondering is how much I'd have to pay her for that bundle:
Britt chose a UFO to load on her new-used longarm and went searching for a panto to quilt on it:
There are SEW many options:
She has made SEW many masks for family and friends. Britt is now suffering from Mask Overload:
Kirsten reported that she has been packing up her sewing room in preparation for new floors. I certainly don't envy her THAT task! At least, she has a week or 2 to complete the process. The flooring will be installed sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Joy finished quilting this quilt, which some of you will recognize. Carol shared this beauty a couple of months ago:
Margaret finished piecing a UFO from 2018!! It's from Augusta Cole's Wheel of Fortune class:
Karen V. shared this raw edge quilt in progress for her daughter...
... And she has run out of non-woven interfacing for more masks:
** Joy to the rescue... She keeps bolts of the stuff on hand for the T-shirt quilts that she makes!! The last yard or so of featherweight was just perfect for Karen's purposes:
Victoria was busy finishing her 100 blocks. Before mask making, she played with design layout options:
This is there Northwind layout:
She can't really go wrong with either plan!
Karen W. completed her Spring/Summer wall hanging. It will had in her living room/dining room wall:
She made this top and back 3 years ago:
... And completed this unique bunk bed donation last week:
Thank you for a better response than we had for the Late March meeting!! It's SEW good to see what everyone is working on.
Are you ready for a surprise?
Here's how the story goes... Our editor was out sick and missed the Early March meeting. Technical difficulties prevented a catch up post, but as I was looking for pictures for this post, the following photos flashed across the screen. It was (finally) time to investigate.
I would like to apologize for the following (incorrect) disclaimer on the Late March meeting post:
Note: Our editor was sick and missed the Early March meeting on 3/10/20. A reminder to take photos was issued (and ignored.) The quilters in attendance were too busy talking to take any pictures. :o((
Sorry, Margaret!!! I hope you will forgive me for posting inaccurate information without double-checking the facts.
As it turned out, Margaret had sent the photos on the night of the meeting in question, but I was unable to access them. Time went by and I forgot all about that missing post. (You know. The threat of a novel coronavirus will do that.) The photo issue has since been resolved. Thank you, Margaret!
Early March...
Dawn's Sunbonnet Sue:
Since it may be a toss up as to which of them likes the holiday more, I'm guessing this is Jean's or Carol's Halloween Crazy Quilt wall hanging:
I would LOVE to know the story on this incredible quilt:
Alita worked on a knitting project:
LOVE that cheesy grin, Dawn:
Karen L. was working on her massive hand piecing project:
Zoomba class must have been meeting in the gym, as I see Jean just got up to close the door to block the noise:
Speaking of Jean... She has a new pattern to play with...
... And fabrics, too:
I'm really sorry I missed out on all the fun.
Until next time...
BEE sew safe!!
