Charity Quilt News...

Near the end of the meeting, Jean (?) asked if we were still collecting donation quilts, Ella said that she would store whatever we make.  She would like to have quilts to distribute when there is a need.

Later, Ella forwarded a FB post from Bea @ Beaquilter.  Bea dropped off 20 quilts at UNC Hospice in Pittsboro today.  She reported that there is a BIG need for quilts there.  Apparently, they go through about 30 per month.  She ventured to guess that other hospice facilities might need quilts, as well.

Thank you, Ella, for passing this information along.  Please advise if there is a particular size requirement for these quilts.

Until next time...
BEE sew safe!!!
